A privacy-first DNA analysis tool that turns your raw genetic data into clear, readable insight without it ever leaving your device.
Millions of people have raw DNA files sitting in a folder from 23andMe or AncestryDNA, but the moment they want to actually understand that data, they hit a wall. The tools that exist ask you to upload your most personal information to a server you don't control — trading your genetic privacy for a few insights.
GeneSpectra rejects that trade entirely. Everything runs locally in your browser. Your genome is analyzed on your machine and never touches a server.
GeneSpectra reads your raw DNA file directly in the browser and cross-references it against a curated database of scientifically-backed genetic markers — spanning nutrition, fitness, traits, sensitivities, and more. Clear, honest results. No cloud, no account, no compromise.

GeneSpectra is a solo project from concept to production. I designed the interface, architected the client-side analysis engine, built and audited the SNP database, and shipped it. The hardest part wasn't the code — it was making genuinely complex genetic science feel calm and legible.
