Kogiflow

Brand and website for a coach who teaches mobility, strength and aerial skills. I shot every photo and video on the site, and built it in Next.js.

Client
Kogiflow, a movement coach teaching mobility, strength and aerial skills
Challenge
Three disciplines under one brand, in a category where most sites look the same
Goal
Take an existing brand further, with a look that's stylish and nothing like a gym
Scope
Brand development, art direction, photography and video, web design, Next.js build

Most fitness sites look like they were built for the same gym.

The category has one visual language: dark backgrounds, aggressive type and hard contrast. Kogiflow teaches mobility, strength and aerial skills, and the brand needed to feel distinctive and stylish without borrowing any of it.

It also had to carry the coach's Colombian roots, without reading as a site made only for a Colombian audience.

The Approach

Swiss structure, street finish.

The direction started in Mexico City, where raw concrete and planting sit side by side under a strong Latin visual culture. That mix stayed with the coach after a visit there, and it became the brief.

  1. A Swiss grid with a brutalist surface

The structure is Swiss: a strict grid, clear hierarchy and generous space. The finish is street and brutalist, drawn from Mexico City. The Latin influence lives in the design itself instead of being added on as a theme.

  2. Shot in-house

I shot every photo and video on the site. The same person planned the shoots and the layouts, so each image was made for the page it sits on.

  3. Built for heavy media

The site runs on Next.js on Vercel. Video and large images are served from Cloudflare R2, which keeps them out of the repo and the build, so deploys stay fast.

The Result

Brand, shoot and build from one person.

Kogiflow is live with a brand that stands apart from the fitness sites around it. The brand, the photography, the video and the code all came from me, so they read as one project.

Let's build something.
